She’s Your Fellow Earthling

Hello, everyone! I decided to take a little break and quickly write this blog. Still working hard on my exam! I’m terribly exhausted. I’ll get to my nominees soon! Thank you. Okay, here we go.

How hard is it to be a decent human being?

As I mentioned before, I am living the single life in my 30’s, and I don’t regret it. I like to think of myself as a strong conservative modern feminist woman—if that makes any sense. One thing men need to realize is that every woman is different. While one may need and want certain things, another woman requires something else. I like to call that “get to know her.”

My mom and dad have a beautiful love story in my opinion. Simple but full of love.

My dad took two buses for about two hours and then walked another mile to see my mother for only 15 minutes while my grandmother kept a close eye on them. He traveled a long journey almost every day to see her face and hear her voice for such a short time. That’s amazing! There’s a lot more to this story. However, I’ll keep it short. They’ve been married for more than 30 years now, and they remain “partners in crime.” So far, I don’t know any woman who wouldn’t appreciate that kind of dedication. Or any person for that matter.

Nowadays, I hear too many, unfortunate stories of…how do I say this? Jerks! The pain, the distress, and the sadness of some of these women are just terrible. I understand that no relationship is perfect. But when a guy doesn’t appreciate you, it’s probably best to let him go—for your own sanity—and for your heart. Apologies and excuses fall short every time he speaks them and then repeats it. Get rid of toxicity. Hearing these terrible cases of certain men, inspired me to write the following. I hope you like it.  Have a blessed fourth of July!

How can you not want to treat a human being with decency?

She’s your fellow earthling.

Her body conveys life.

Blood runs through her veins.

Her heart pulsates.

She has dreams and aspirations.

She has a past, present, and future.

She’s a person.

She’s not just a body.

She has hidden tears and fears.

She has brave and euphoric tears.

She worries.

She stresses.

And you want to be another one?

She’s strong.

But also falters.

Be there to hold her.

No one touches the chair of the Queen.

No one has seen what you perceive.

Her skin is a soft blanket.

Protect it. Care for it.

She’s your mother’s fellow and colleague.

She’s your sister’s sister—

All fellow women.

All for one, and one for all.

  2. I am reminded of Hillel, the Jewish elder who said,” That which is hateful to you, do not do to others.” Not surprisingly it works very well in relationships. Work hard on those exams.

  3. Love it! Women must be strong in the world today. It is better to stand on your own rather then try to lean on a man that lets you fall.
