Everything Freezes

Thoughts of A Rose 1 Minute

When you don’t return love, you lose a piece of your heart.

When you don’t dare, you don’t know what you can do.

When you don’t forgive, you’re only harming yourself.

When you don’t forget, it’s a toxic waste in your mind.

But, sometimes, when you don’t give a crap, everything freezes.
You do through the motions.
You go through stages.

You go through the seasons.

Until one day you turn the page.

You write new characters, plots, scenarios, and a new setting.

Your past characters do as they wish.

They stay in your dusty library, or you sell them at yard sale.

Their stories fall in the hands of strangers.

It no longer matters what they do or don’t.

But, also, when you don’t give a crap, everything freezes.

You go through the motions.

You go through stages.

You go through the seasons.

Until one day, you turn the page.
