The Leaf in Autumn

When you die, money and possessions aren’t going to stand at your funeral–neither degrees or accomplishments. They won’t prepare a special suit and tissue to mourn for you. In the minds of phony and superficial relationships, you will be like the leaf that passes you on a windy autumn.

Cherish those who truly love you, those who have seen your ups and downs. Life isn’t guaranteed for any mortal. We don’t know if we will set with the sun. We don’t know if we will rise with the sun. What we can we know? Genuine love because untainted love is eternal, not earthly.

I speak such words in vain because your existence fully understands the philosophy of life and love. You do know. You know.
