Hello, eveyone. So I was about to go to sleep. But we got another jolt in California. I live in the High Desert, San Bernardino County area. I have to admit that it’s now gotten to the point of feeling more than concerned.
First, we got hit by a 6.4 in the morning 2 days ago, then at night a 5.4, followed by smaller ones, then again a pre-earthquake of 5.2,and we finally got hit by a 7.1,epicenter was at Ridgecrest.
Of course, if you’re a person of prayer, I do ask for your prayers. The only city that has experienced damage is Ridgecrest. Because of the gas and electricity accidents that occur during earthquakes, some people lost their homes, unfortunately. Ridgecrest and neighbor cities apparently have power and water outage, and they are fleeing those cities as “we speak.” I pray they’re all okay. No deaths so far, thank God.
Experts stated that we can expect a 50% chance of more aftershocks of 5 and 6 in the next 2 weeks, and a 10% chance of getting a 7.1 or stronger earthquake, which is very scary.
Anyway, I will attempt to rest once again, and pray that everyone in California wakes up safe. I wouldn’t normally just blog about some state emergency, but I needed to take off my mind from “freak mode” a bit.
If you’ve read some of my others posts, you will find that I am person who takes refugee in prayer and the Bible. It makes me feel better. So, for tonight, I’ll leave you with Psalm 23 (below). Thank you. Have a great day/night. Blessings.
Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV)
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
How scary!

I love that I can automatically bob my head to it. It’s such a good song. 🙂 The links aren’t working, by the way. I have to usually search.

Awesome! I’m glad you enjoyed the song very much. 🙂 It does have a upbeat feel.
If the links don’t work its usually WordPress who’s at fault. But, worry not for one can search up the band and title and listen to it on their own. 🙂

Yes, the name of the band and name the song actually helped a lot. And definitely a pretty good tempo. Not too much but just enough.
