Meet Ana P. Rose

Ana P. Rose

Ana is a native of California (US) and a Guatemalan descendant. Though Ana is a proud American and Californian, her Guatemalan culture influences her writing, such as the dark humor aspect. She grew up in a Christian home, and her beliefs reflect in her work and philosophy of life. However, she doesn't shy away from controversy and even delves into profound dark emotions that we all experience as human beings. Ana is fluent in English and Spanish, and she's learning French on Duoling. Ana graduated from High School in 2002. Years later, she enrolled at Victor Valley College and obtained her Associate's degree in Liberal & Fine Arts. She then transferred and graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in English. In 2017, Ana graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Master of Arts in English. Through her Master's dissertation, she published on Proquest three short stories, The Twofold World: Three Short Stories. Ana is writing her first book, a low fantasy with strong Christian themes. It is a book she has been writing for years, and her goal is to publish her trilogy, called "A Fall Beyond Your Sky." Ana is currently a certified Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent. She enjoys binge-watching old shows like, "Boy Meets Word," "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "Friends," "The Office," & "How I Met Your Mother." She loves most of the 90s-2010s romcoms and loves the Marvel Universe and the new Batman movie. Currently, she enjoys new shows, like Stranger Things and Cobra Kai.
