“I don’t talk about it [his pain] too much because I don’t ever want to be perceived as a victim. I am not and have never been and never will be a victim of any circumstance I am in. I don’t wear victimhood on my shoulder. I don’t like to act like I am my wounds and repeatedly be reminded of my wounds. What happened in my youth carved me and forged me into the person I am today for better—purely better. We trade trauma for wisdom. When we go through heavy experiences, it deepens our eyes.”

Thank you for sharing Cole Sprouse’s perspective on pain and victimhood. It’s refreshing to hear someone speak so positively about how past experiences can shape us in a positive way. My question for you is, how do you think we can learn to trade trauma for wisdom in our own lives?

Hi, thank you for your support and comment. I appreciate it. And I think we can. I like to listen to people’s life stories, such as Cole. And many usually see pain as a way of learning. That, in return, can turn into wisdom if we chose to heal. Of course it’s a long process and difficult. But it’s achievable with patience and self-confrontation. Thank you. 😊
